                   2.     Gun attacks (practice left and right hand attacks)

a.     Front attack to mid section or face

i)      Avoid to the outside, palm heel block hand, grab gun barrel and turn it towards attacker, execute side throw. Continue motion and take gun away.

ii)     Avoid to the inside, palm heel block hand and chop throat

iii)    Avoid to the inside, palm heel block hand, grab gun barrel and turn upwards, trapping finger in trigger and breaking it. Attacker should fall to knees. Take gun away.

b.     Rear attack: Attacker using right hand

i)      Pivot (like body twisting) and look to the rear at attacker’s eyes. Hands move with body blocking gun at appropriate level (low, middle or high). If block is to outside (defender’s body twisted to the right), take one step and grab back of the hand for side throw. Right hand grabs gun barrel, turning it toward the attacker and execute side throw. Take gun away.

ii)     Pivot and look simultaneously blocking attack at the appropriate level. If block is to the inside (defender avoided and blocked to the left), grab attacker’s wrist to control gun, execute inside neck strike then grab back of the neck and pull attacker into a groin kick with the knee.

c.     Pistol to the front of the head (defender is kneeling):

 i)     Palm block the attacker’s hand and move head opposite direction, vertical punch to the groin with other hand. Fall forward, grabbing attacker’s heels with both hands, pushing with shoulders against attacker’s shins knocking him backwards.

                   3.     Against low knife hand strike: front hand low cutting block and reverse punch jaw or temple.

                   4.     Avoiding technique: From sparring stance pivot around the front foot.

a.     From right back stance, back foot moves clockwise 90°.
